Chuck and Dan's New Year's Eve-Eve party was a roaring success this year. There were a few no-shows, but all in all a pretty good time. This was my first year in attendance, though I wonder, is this the first year it has been held? If so I guess I'm a charter member, if not than my dear Chuck, you should bake me an assortment of scones as penance for not having invited me all of these years. I'm kidding, but don't let that stop you from making scones, or anything else because you are a fantastic chef.

Dan was the designated photographer for the evening. He was given a sleek new digital camera for Christmas and I'm sure has been chomping at the bit to use it. And use it he did. We didn't realize until the end of the night, however, that the resolution setting on the camera had defaulted to lowest quality. The pictures still turned out great, but I can't do a thing to get rid of people's red eyes, or in the case of one of the photos, it appears I have a penny for an eye. Oh well. Here you go:

The award for biggest trooper goes to the hostess, pictured there in the middle. She cleaned up the studio and got to bed sometime passed 4 in the morning only to have to get back up at 8 to teach class. Thanks for a wonderful time. You guys rock.
